This project aims to develop materials to
promote understanding of the American society and culture, and
to use them extensively in educational practices. What is unique
about this project is that teachers who are teaching in classrooms
form a team, visit the U.S., and develop materials using collected
materials through their own experiences.
This project aims to enhance mutual
understandings of the society and culture between schools
in Japan and schools in the U.S., based on mutual visits
by elementary, junior high, and senior high school teachers
between the two countries. With enhanced mutual understandings,
it also aims to establish international partnership schools
on an individual school basis. Among partnership schools,
it was expected that they develop programs to promote
global education.
